- Um, no they did not come here illegally all that time ago... as there were no laws back then for immigration thus no laws were broken. We now HAVE laws in place and currently, although our government refuses to enforce it, if you are here illegally, you should be deported.

- If you parent as you say you do, you're not a helicopter parent. Don't refer to yourself as such either as it has a negative connotation. Just 1 thing: if they need money, please make them earn it. Don't just willy-nilly hand them money. They'll never learn the value of money then.
